Just a reminder, but this threadthread discussed moderator closure. As I said there, moderators need to take care in closing questions or they will destroy the community nature of the site. I've been a moderator on a Stack based site and I never saw a direct need for moderator intervention, the community dealt with questions that didn't fit on their own, as it should be.
