Can a moderator fix the "bellow" tag?

SE isn't supposed to allow you to add tags that differ only in pluralization, but it let me add bellows as a tag synonym, make it the "master" and retag a question, so I'll do the other 10 and see how ...

Is the "hardware" tag useful? (And should we kill it?)

My suggestion: merge it into computer-hardware, and remove it from any questions where that doesn't apply.

more tag merging: cameraphones and smartphone

TL;DR: merge smartphone into cameraphones. Let apps do the work for phone camera app software. 2 1/2 years on, the smartphone and cameraphones tags are a mess. For the most part, there doesn't seem ...

Can we change [camera-identification] to [equipment-identification]?

I think it is helpful to have distinct tags for camera identification and lens identification. There's no rule that says both such tags can't be attached to the same question when appropriate.

Do we need both [neutral-density] and [neutral-density-filter]?

I think a tag synonym makes sense. I'd say keep neutral-density-filter. If we kept neutral-density, then people would be tempted to tag questions with neutral-density and filter, which we're saying ...

Does the olympus-om1 tag need updating?

Uuurgh :-) I don't think we want one tag to apply to both a film and digital camera, and we can't just simply update the tag description, because then it won't apply to questions like this one which ...

Saving the "filters" tag

First pitch: either app-filters or software-filters. I like [app-filters] because it's shorter, and frankly, 95% of the people who will be asking this will be ...

Do we need both [neutral-density] and [neutral-density-filter]?

TL;DR: the tag should include the noun (i.e., [neutral-density-filter] or [nd-filter]) I believe tag ontologies should consist ...

Do we need both [neutral-density] and [neutral-density-filter]?

(Bit late to this party, but here's my 2p) I think a filters category is useful in it's own right without a need for having filter repeated in the tags. I don't think the repetition would present ...
