I'm still using some of my film-era Contax (35mm) lenses, lenses I bought almost three decades ago, on my Sony A7R. Really, I should say that some lenses I hadn't used in 15 years were suddenly useful to me, again. I'm a combination of coder / technologist and farmer / naturalist. The former is helpful for the technological side of photography, writing Lightroom plugins, and improving my technique, while the latter provides a better understanding of the world I shoot in.

I've been living abroad (mostly in Germany and Italy) for the past 16 years and am now back in the U.S., so I feel like I have fresh eyes for the beauty of northern California and Oregon.
