Should we tag by model number?
I would vote for tagging by manufacturers only. Search function can do the rest (filtering out specific models).

Is it okay to link to your own image/gallery if it's semi-related to a question or answer?
In that case, the image seems irrelevant to the question so I would vote no.

Color vs Colour (and other words with similar multiple spellings)
There should definitely be only one tag (color / colour). As for which one - it is all the same to me as I'm not from UK nor US.
As for the questions/answers any spelling should be allowed.

Agreed. Tags should cover generic ideas. Search already takes care about specific terms.

Vocabulary: Generic equivalents of DX and FX tags
