Dec 17, 2015 at 3:04 comment added Russell McMahon @bbh It seeme likely to ne the caterpiullar form of Daphni nerii - the Oleander Hawk Moth - so named because they feed mainly on Oleander leaves - which are fatally poisonous to many creatures - including humans. Many images here and Wikipedia and Moth photo - wow!.
